The Souk of Oujda

Invaded by thousands of scents, the souk of Oujda is a hub of handicrafts and typical specialties of the region. By entering these streets, we passe under old stone arches, which offer a special charm to the medina. The stands of spices and fruit and vegetable stalls color and perfume the market streets. The “Souk El Ma ‘water market, remains a curiosity of the medina. There was once sold the rainwater used to irrigate the gardens of the region.
